Apple unveiled its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models as well as the brand-new iPhone Air, that takes the place of the Plus. If waiting in line on release day is not your style, but you still need to secure one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, ahead of the September 19th release date.
The iPhone 17 has a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after much anticipation (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, Apple’s new A19 chip is quicker and more optimized, particularly when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll notice a massive bump in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
About the camera, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and also a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography more detailed and more impressive.
